Marina Danilina BA, RMT

Marina graduated from Moscow State University with a degree in Educational Psychology. Her specialization took her into speech therapy and she left a rewarding private practice in Russia to immigrate to Vancouver.
In Canada Marina wished to continue a career in health care. This time she did so by becoming a registered massage therapist by studying massage therapy at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy.
Marina has an extensive experience in treating many varieties of health related issues such as soft tissue injuries, postural imbalance, systemic conditions such as arthritis, MS and fibromyalgia.
With her background in psychology Marina understands the importance of not just physical but also the emotional aspects in the process of healing. Also being a competitive athlete (gymnastics) in the past she understands mechanism of injuries and the impact of them later in life.
Using a variety of therapeutic techniques Marina likes to educate her clients helping them to be active participants in their own healing process. Some of Marina’s techniques include Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Release, Craniosacral and Visceral Therapy.

Marina is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
